Ayoub Boulares is the founder and CEO of EVIDARA Research Studio. His research explores how intermittent hypoxia and exercise influence cerebral oxygenation, cerebrovascular function and cognition, with a particular interest in cognitive aging.

His work spans experimental and intervention studies, alongside research on adapted physical activity for older adults, including people living with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s disease. He also brings experience in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, connecting individual study findings with the broader evidence.

His methodological experience includes statistical analysis, data interpretation and scientific communication. He works with R, SPSS, Statistica, jamovi and JASP, and has experience with functional near-infrared spectroscopy, transcranial Doppler, heart rate variability and cognitive assessments. His teaching in physiology and anatomy complements a practical approach to explaining complex scientific questions clearly.

Through EVIDARA, Ayoub aims to bring researchers from different disciplines together around the needs of each project. His approach emphasizes thoughtful study design, transparent analysis and collaborative interpretation, helping researchers strengthen their work while retaining ownership of their questions, decisions and contributions.
